A great shape shifted through the soundless skies, a great bulking shadow set against the blue with no sign of ever shifting. Seemingly to be carried with the wind the shape moved through the skies, slowly and steadily growing in size as a desent was made. Feline claws extended, feathered appendages rose and fell, pushing the current of the air downwards as the steady desent because a plummet. Wing flew through the soft brown fur and beat against his tightened limb, seeming to almost tear off his wings which for the time being had been pulled intowards himself. Suddenly the wings broke free, releasing themselves from his grasp, feathers spreading and like a falling sky-diver who had just released his parachute the great beast was suddenly heaved up and held in the air by his own sudden fall.
Amber orbs gazed down across the landscape with an almost glazed look, her seemed relaxed enough but at the same time slightly stressed. The creature not only hunted for forestry in which to reside, but a grex with whom to reside also. He needed the forest, but just as much he needed company, and as he let these thoughts absorb his mind he subconciously scanned over the world beneath him. Uncertain of his own safety, but for some reason feeling safe enough to perch here, afterall he needed to stop. The young male had flown for day and not rested yet, he needed to perch and eat and rest a while. But of course he knew himself as a hunter, it was what he was best suited to be, so first thing on his mind was of course the hunt.
Being as he was he knew it wrong to take out large prey to feed himself, such an act would prove nothing but gluttany. He needed to find something small, with the more avion eyes of his hawk side than the feline eyes of the cougar, so it was not long before his hues caught sight of the movement in the grass below as the long legged prey broke into sprint at sight of his shadow. But for the poor little creature it was already far too late. The shadow grew, the space between them was obliterated in mere seconds, again the wings flew open and fore paws flew forward, paws extending in the way their odd hybrid claws did and snatching the hare from the ground. The ferosity and intense grip was enough in itself to put the creature into a state of shock, even while in flight the great creature ducked his head and let his beak burrow into the soft flesh, tearing and pulling until a chunk of meat had been torn from the bones.
Barely even a few minutes had passed before he had landed on a small rock formation with his kill held down against the rock by a powerful set of claws and being slowly decapatated by a formiddible beak of immense, untold danger. His feline, slightly fluffed auds flicked back against the wind, his thoughts raced. The hunt had used up alot of his energy, more than it would be able to replace in the short term. Until he rested and allowed his meal to supliment for the energy it had absorbed he couldn't fly far, and he had never been much good at defending himself anyway. The place didn't seem all that welcoming and as he began to settle down in a small hollow by the small collection of rocks his thoughts brought him to new possiblities, new experiences.
It's hopeless, no grex, no forest, nothing. Not even the energy to fly, I can't keep going on like this Deki, you just can't do it anymore.

Baelath, Bae to himself, was flying along like he hadn't a care in the world. And he didn't. Bae was as carefree and relaxed as a leaf in the wind. He was singing to himself a song of journeys, of not caring where you were going, of the thrill of leaving somewhere old and going somewhere new. He pulled into a flip as he held out a note, and sent himself tumbling head-over-hind paws to the ground. Luckily he wasn't too high, and he landed on the ground with only a little hurt. He hopped up to his paws and talons, the world spinning. "Is it just me," he said aloud to no one in particular, "Or am I so ridiculously amazing that the world has come to its senses and started to revolve around me?" He laughed at his own joke and started trotting along, a slight drunken wobble to his steb, albeit his soberness. He was almost always like that. He continued along, a new song flying out of his falcon's beak. He didn't really care what he was singing about, he just let the words come. Soon, he came across another gryphon, lying on a rock formation. "Hello!" He called. "I'm Baelath! Who are you? What are you doing here? Are you from this grex? Is there even a grex around here? Where is here, anyway?" Questions rocketed out of his beak like rabbits. He stopped and tipped his head to the side, waiting for a reply.

A slightly feathery tipped aud flicked back, the sound of a voice came to him in his subconscious state. Uneasily the great beast lifted himself up a little, a voice. All the way out here, he thought he had heard a thud earlier, had another like himself come down from the skies in hope of hunt or rest. There was only one was to find out. Of course being a loner so long had left him wary of even the friendliest company, and so on emerging into the vision of the second male he fluffed up his feathers and fur, splayed his claws and kept his head down as means to protect his neck.
The male seemed friendly enough, not only this but for some reason safe. Deki carefully looked over the male, his tawny feathered torso, long feathered legs and gripping talons at his fore-feet. His rump was obviously the feline part of him, and seemed not to match his tawny torso being that it was the traditional amber-gold of a leaopard's pelt with of course the black spots that were formed by a small cluster of spots. His eyes were most strange, at first glance they looked to Deki to be black, but now as he looked more closely they seemed to have changed to be a deep brown, but when his own amber optics blinked and he looked again they were back to being black.
Such a feature made Deki feel uneasy, but as he looked he could see quite clearly that the gryphon was built for speed, his lengthy, muscular legs and sleder, compact build showed this. Where as Deki's muscle bunched about his forepaws and torso, he was built for the strength but by no means slow. His amber hues flicked down then back up, in some sign of greeting. All this observation took mere seconds and to this point the male had given nothing more than his name, Deki listened with a slight irritated twitch to his tail. The male before him seemed to have a variety of question and he could only watch with his usual cool, laid back appearance.
His let the squaks and caws emit from the male, taking in the meaning of each shift in posture and sound from the beak, many questions, all of which had to be answered, Deki felt an aud smile come across his beak which even he had to admit would look odd, but he let his muscles loosen a little and he relaxed as he looked on at the male with his tilted head. "There is no grex here, you must find grex that has begun to form already," He looked at the male for a brief moment, guessing him to be of light heart and so he thought there would be no harm in inviting him along. "I am going to the forest at first light, it is where I belong. Will you join me youth?" He said this as he could tell the second male was younger than him, possibly even adolescant judging by the very brown feathers.

Blade's keen gaze picked out the low hills that he had been told of. A place of no war. This brought an amused smile from him since violence was second-nature to him. Still, he had wanted to see this strange place for himself. He didn't pick fights easily, so he had no doubt that he could keep himself from killing for the time it took to explore the low hills and valleys. Winter had flattened the grasses with heavy rains, but new growth shown bright and green in small rough patches across the ground.
Powerful wing flaps in a set of five drove him onward. He let his wings snap out to float on an air thermal as he circled easily above the landscape. Amber eyes picked out small shapes below. The slight rustle of a mouse distracted him briefly, but he wasn't hungry. He turned his gaze back to the dark shapes below him. His keen gaze picked out the pattern of leopard fur on the one and on the other he could see the golden fur of a cougar. This intrigued him, since he saw few others with a similar coat. Gliding lightly, Blade let himself circle downwards to see the others.
He dropped low enough for his ears to make out the words being spoken. The tan and gray falcon-cougar was speaking. He picked up the word "grex" and then, "I am going to the forest at first light, it is where I belong. Will you join me youth?" Blade wondered which of the many forests the gryphon meant, but it didn't matter much to him, as it didn't effect him. He circled lazily, debating whether or not to land.
Blade looked down at his charcoal shadow marked clearly against the grass. By now, the other two must have noticed him. He decided to land. It wouldn't hurt to speak with them and perhaps assuage his curiosity about this strange, bloodless land. He dropped to the ground.
Blade landed cleanly, running forward a few steps towards the other two gryphons, before shaking himself and folding his wings neatly back. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he saw that the tan gryphon was on a rock, standing above him. This did not sit well with Blade, who was instantly aware of the ease with which the other could fall on him and attack him. He circled warily, his tail twitching slightly. The fluff of feathers about the neck of the other only served to heighten his awareness of a possible attack. No matter that fighting was supposed to be forbidden here...
His gaze quickly twitched to the spotted gryphon, pegging him nearly instantly as harmless. The leopard-falcon was lean and clearly quite young, though clearly a sutla. But Blade guessed that he had just reached full-growth recently. He had an open, friendly expression and though his eyes were bright with youthful energy, Blade sensed intelligence behind them. He feared no attack from this gryphon and doubted he would even know how to handle himself in a fight. Blade dismissed him.
"Kacha, are you?" he asked politely to the gryphon on the rock. It was as polite as Blade could make it, anyway, since his voice held a slight growl to it naturally that some found threatening. "Unless you speak of being in a grex yourself." He didn't think that was what the other had been saying when he appeared, though.
He paused to circle about slightly, edginess giving a constant uneasy movement to his body. His eyes skimmed the surrounded landscape briefly out of habit, checking for threats, before snapping back to the gryphon on the rock.

Baelath sobered up suddenly, noticing the other gryphon glide smoothly onto the plain, much more graceful than his own landing. He was also slightly snubbed by the cougar-falcon's calling him youth. He liked to think of himself as mature in appearance and action, but obviously his loud, raucous singing and crazy crash-landing made him seem childish and stupid. He felt his eyes hardeneing more to a stonier black. He quietly preened himself for a moment, as if deciding whether or not to go with the cougar-falcon. His choice was already made. He was a bard, after all, and such a long time of being alone and practicing his songs and stories to himself had made him ache for companionship. "Hmm...." He faked contemplation. "I have nothing else to do, so I guess I will go with you." Then he turned his stony eyes to the cougar-eagle. Is everyone half cougar? He thought idly to himself. "And who are you?" Bigshot. thinking he can intimidate me with a little growl.

Even before the younger Sutla had responded to Deki's question a new griffon appeared, for a while all that Deki knew of it was that he had caught sight of its shadow, large wings outstretched more in a glide than much else, but they did flap, sleder-ish body but with a bit of bulk in the hindquarters. This suggested that the new gryphon was older and most likely bigger than himself, suggesting that the other gryphon was male was the bulky torso that he seemed to posess, or at least what Deki could manage to make out from it with nothing but the shadow on the flatterned plains to work with.
Deki watched the shadow begin to grow, then shrink a little agian, the wings had remained fully outstretched and the circling had become straight flight. This all added up to one thing, the stranger was coming in for landing. It was as he had suspected, the male seemed larger and stronger than himself but he too seemed to be quite a bit older. In comparison to Deki and Baelath this male seemed capible of being a Natuk or Ketlu. Deki shook himself and pounced down from the rock formation to stand beside Baelath. If there was going to be any sort of fight to take place he knew who's side he was going to take, though for a moment, dispite a lack of knowledge of his where-abouts, the idea of fighting here did seem for some reason wrong to him.
For the most part Deki didn't like this new male, he seemed odly dominant and fiesty, like the type to fight quickly and with little thought. It was almost worrying, but Deki didn't show it, as always he took on a laid-back view and simply pushed his paws forward and lay down. His head remained up to watch the other two males and his wings tucked against his body tightly as a sort of shield against any sudden attack, but he was relaxed enough. A single on of his auds flicked forward showing mild interest in the new male and what he had said. "I am Kacha, but I do seek out a forest grex where I believe I will belong and I can be in the company of my own kind." His answer mimiced the formal and polite tone that the other male had used, keeping them more on terms of formality than friendship.
He did for a while want to act as though the second male was simply not their and just leave with Bealath. But he didn't have the energy to fly to a forest, unless there was one odly close that he had not seen while in his previous flight. But he knew better than to do so, he would be showing disrespect if he did. He turned a little to catch the voice of Bealath, he was yet to give his name, though he did want to there was something about the more recent stranger that made him not want to. But he listened to his agreement to travel with himself and then listened to his questioning of the stranger. He too felt need to question the stranger, so he turned his head to face the cougar-eagle gryphon.
"Yes Regalt, are you Kacha or are you of a grex?" Of course not knowing the male's name he chose to call him by the formal name for their kind, Regalt, it seemed to fit this odly formal and rather dislikeable character that stood before him with what seemed to be an attempt of an intimidating posture and dominant figure, but Deki had never been the type to be easily intimidated, he was just simply to casual. To appear more relaxed than he perhaps really was he lifted one wing a little and preened it, he had to get ready to fly again anyway, he expected he would be able to do so soon having managed to get some rest before he was disturbed. As he did so, running his beak through his feathers, smoothing them out a little with his tongue and murring softly more like the feline he felt himself to be deep inside. His talons even working through the earth lightly.

Blade focused his attention on the older male, who had wisely dropped to the ground. This brought some of the loose ease back into Blade, who no longer felt threatened. Even sacred ground was not safe from shed blood--and Blade already carried the remains of many lives on his deadly sharp claws.
It amused him that a place should be considered safe from fighting and death--an amusement that had driven his curiosity to explore it. Having no grex or family of his own allowed him the freedom to travel based on loose whims.
Blade started when the older male lay down. The only reason that Blade would have done such a thing was if he were dead. He had no one he trusted enough to dare lay down with: in Blade's mind, such a thing would be a death sentence. This gryphon was either foolish or naive. Or simply trusted too greatly in the unwritten code against fighting in this place. No matter: Blade had no intention of slitting the other's throat. Yet.
He listened with half an ear to the other's talk of joining a grex. Fool. "Better to die a loner than live as a slave," he replied, his gaze flicking rapidly across the surrounding open space. "No member of a grex is free: merely a slave to the law of their Natuk." His voice was tinged with bitterness, the flickers of dark memories twisting in the corners of his mind. He left others to the waste of joining a grex, but wouldn't go near one himself. He knew how such things worked: the twisting lies that comforted the foolish into complacency while the Natuk ruled and ordered their lives. And who kept tabs on the Natuk? No one dared speak against the law of their ruler. Idiotic system.
"Who am I?" Blade turned on the younger gryphon, in answer to the question, the corner's of his beak curving in amusement and mockery. "I am the mighty Blade, killer of dozens." His eyes lit with laughter, making it impossible to know the truth of his words. Even Blade might not have known whether he lied or spoke truth--he hardly cared. It was clear that he thought little of the slim bard. "And who are you?" His gaze and face hardened with a sudden shifting of mood, growing serious. Any who challenged him faced danger, though it wasn't always immediate. The young gryphon was little threat, but Blade disliked the challenge in the other gryphon's voice.
He brought his attention back to the other male when the falcon-cougar spoke. The question in this one was polite, lacking the demand of the other, but he still narrowed his eyes. He didn't like to reveal much of anything about himself. It was safer to remain anonymous. "I have no need or interest in any grex...Anymore," he added as a bitter afterthought. Leave the waste to others.
How much to reveal and how silent to remain? He wavered. Darkness clouded on the edge of his vision, angry, demanding. He blinked it away. Not here, he thought in frustration. Then, Why did I come to a place of peace? It was like fire and water: not mixing, only hating each other. He felt irritation clawing irrationally at his belly. It churned stronger when he saw the falcon-cougar begin to groom himself.
Blade spun away, stalking through the grass. He envied the other his sense of peace and ease, the ability to lie still around strangers without fear. It was stupid and idiotic...and yet he was jealous, his own twisted thoughts driving rage and fear like pitiless wolves ripping at his heels. Snarling softly to himself, he turned back to face the other two and sat down, gaze cold.
Number of Words: 645 or thereabouts Things To Know: Um. I begin to think that Blade is much more chaotic aligned than he is neutral. Character: Blade Anything Else? Poor Blade is not actually mad, even though it might seem like it at times. And he really can be friendly...Sometimes.

Bae's eyes became as hot as coals, yet kept their steely blackness. "Blade. Killer of dozens," He growled. "You think that makes you mighty?" Baelath shook his head, and his steel-fire eyes closed for a moment. He opened them back up again, and stared into the distance. "Killing the mighty does not give you might. Killing the weak makes you a weakling. Killing of fools makes you foolish. And killing for the sake of killing makes you weak, foolish, and doomed to eternal suffering." Baelath turned his eyes back to the cougar-eagle, almost challenging him, but not quite. All traces of the happy-go-lucky bard wheeling through the sky were gone. "I am Baelath, killer of none."
Number of Words: 121. Short Things To Know: Bae's speech about "killing of the weak makes you a weakling" was actualy inspired by Bellanes's speech in the Seer and the Sword. A book. Character: Baelath, killer of none. Anything Else? I now have the shortest post!!!

Deki remained soft and calm, his gaze gently and slowly fluctuated from his feather's to his companions. The onlder gryphon seemed disturbed, sensitive and uneasy about something, though he could never suppose what. His aud flicked back slightly, a smile snook over his beak, only slightly but he figured it may upset the other male gryphon if it appeared much more than that. The way the other male spoke of a grex seemed rather odd, and dispite the fact he had been addressed as regalt he gave no name for which the word to be replaced with. then again, some would prefer to remain a stranger to their fellow strangers, perhaps this male simply didn't like the idea of being know. Deki accepted the responce he was given, the male's oppinion was different from his own and he was open minded to the view, "I see," he murred softly with a slight shrug of his feather laiden shoulders.
His amber hues softly shifted their gaze to the younger gryphon then shifted back. Her ramined steady, calm, his laid back attitude emiting powerfully from his posture. His repectful and cool nature showing in his voice and gentle gaze. Still he felt slight uncertain about the behaviour of the male and felt it appropriate to explain his views. "I seek a grex for the company, I hate to live alone, without trees and plants to keep me who I am. We all think and feel differently of such things." His voice still held the soft respectful tone that it always seemed to have about it. His gaze was even set low and soft, he was willing to accept that this male wasn't really a threat, but he wasn't going to take the chance of making himself seem like a threat.
He listened half heartedly to the talk that came from the Regalt next, speak of killing, rather than any real introduction. He did however give his name, along with his hoepfully self proclaimed title. eh felt a smile come across his beak that was almost a smirk, but he let it fade as he discovered the seriousness the younger gryphon seemed to feel of the topic. He raised a wing slight, pulled back his feathered auds and let a growl like hiss emitt from his beak, his attempt to silence the male before he continued in his verbal attack of the older and stronger Regalt. But Dae payed no attention, he went on to show his dissaproval for Blade's title with some form of wisdon or such. Deki let him speek, he was neutral and so impartial to the conversations, he cared little for who's views were given and took no side, he only tried to keep the peace.
He sighed and pushed his forepaws forward, growling and grumbling as he did so, a slight irritation building in the pit of his chest, but it was in his nature to let it past, he he gave no sign of real emotion as he shifted himself to act as a brrier between the two. Blade was obviously confused, short fused and angry at heart, it was almost like a duty of his, to keep the peace between the short fused Blade and the short witted and obviously not exactly thoughtful Baelath. He ruffled his feathers and first faced Bae with narrow eyes, "An oppinion is an oppinion, neither view is right or wrong. A bard like yourself should know that." Then he lifted his head anf licked his auds, his head slowly drew about to face the obviously angered figure of Blade.
"Excuse him, please," he harked with a rather sharp voice considering his personality, the words showed a certain amount of shame and a greatly apologetic tone, as though he felt somehow responcible for the youth's actions. "Youth these days, they are all so wild and they never think before they speak. You should pay any offence you may have taken no heed, afterall, none of us needs to fight, not here," He lowered his gaze and let his feathers fall, his thoughts flew. If it came to a fight the two were almost equally matched, Blade was older and therefore had experience, but as they were both Salta and both cougar they had almost equal size and almost equall strength. If there was to be any fight, it would be a close one. But as always Deki didn't want to fight.
His only plan had been to gether his engergy and fly to the forestry, find some sort of place to seek out a grex and live with others. An even more carefree life than the one he currently lived in, and perhaps even with his new friend Baelath. How he wished he could take the youth into the forest, show him the way one should live, and the way one should trea all other nature. Such things he planned for his life, none he felt capable to do. But instead he was stood there, trying to keep peace between two sides that had been fighting since the dawn of time, light and dark, perhaps he would have named them good and bad, had he beleived that there was good and bad.
Number of Words: 872 Things To Know: Ok, so Deki kind of has this general peace maker type of personality. He won't take sides, he only fights if he thinks it will help with peace. He will avoid the fight, even if Blade wants to, but to stop Bae from fighting he will. He is just a general nuetral. Character: Deki Anything Else? hehe, trying to make my posts a little longer each time. So far suceeding xD

Baelath seethed at Deki's generalization of his young stupidity. "It's not an opinion." Bae worked to keep from growling. He knew that, if they attacked, he would be quite outmatched. "Blade killer of dozens. Blade, murderer. Blade, destroyer of peace. Blade, bloodbath. There can be nothing good about killer of dozens. Unless the dozens were all evil and,"He snorted "I doubt you would be one to kill for the right. Murder, slaughter, is not something to be proud of. It's not something to strut about. Killing, whether for good or bad, is, although I won't say shameful, not prideful. If you can only see one way to solve things, with attack, you have moral tunnel vision." Baelath's anger was defeated by his common sense. If he went much farther, Deki might become hostile. Blade was probably already planning exactly how much throat he wanted to rip out of Bae. He made himself can his biased opinion and sit back. "I'm sorry if I've offended you. I didn't mean to." The young gryphon almost had to grit his teeth. He worked his claws through the soil, an outlet to his anger.

Blade stiffened at Bae's words against him, and then laughed harshly. "Pure, are you? Or perfect, maybe?" He snorted in disgust. "Well met, Baelath, killer of none." For a brief moment, Blade wondered if he had ever been as innocent as Baelath. The thought was brief and immediately denied. No, he remembered short talons not yet hardened, but already coated with the life-blood of another. That was the insanity of others, forcing him as a kit to join their madness, but he held himself responsible--even as he knew that he'd had no choice in that death, or many of the early ones that followed. No matter. Later had been his choice. Later had also been his choice to join a grex...though now he thought of it, he wondered if his hatred of grexes hadn't started as a kit in that darkness his parent's had called a "family." He pushed his thoughts aside, letting memories bleed for only brief seconds through his mind as he processed his initial question about innocence. The answer, of course, was "no."
"So you are higher and mightier than the rest of us, with the lack of blood of your claws." Blade's words were mocking. Death was only what you made of it. "And I suppose that makes me doomed to eternal suffering." He laughed, amused by this thought. He didn't believe in any gods. He narrowed his eyes and wondered how long a gryphon could live before being forced to fight for his life. Not long, by his reckoning. Well, let the young one turn a blind eye on reality, but Blade wouldn't. Couldn't, maybe.
The other gryphon was speaking, and Blade turned his attention to him. "I take no offense," he replied calmly. "If another thinks he can survive without ever fighting, let him. But no loner can manage that for long." Blade shrugged. "If it isn't other Kacha who attack you, it's other grex who don't like you being on their borders." This was all far too true, as Blade well knew. "And no grex will allow its members to stay free of fighting for too long, either." He leveled an amber eye at the younger gryphon. A quiet warning. Keep that view on death and fighting, and you'll soon be dead. He let it alone, figuring that Baelath would learn this quickly on his own.
"Nor do I seek a fight," Blade continued. "Rather, fighting is forbidden in this place." He shrugged. "I came out of curiosity. That, I suppose, is the advantage to being a loner: one can let curiosity--or stupidity--lead him." He grinned with sudden amusement. He tended to let both guide him, and certainly neither excluded the other. Maybe in fact, they encouraged each other. He had certainly done enough stupid things simply out of curiosity.
The younger one was speaking again, and Blade huffed in irritation. He was tempted to break the wordless "No fighting" rule, simply to shut this one up. A quick slash across the beak would not be a bad thing for the impertinent Bae. He let the gryphon rant on, the feathers on his shoulders and ruff rising, along with the fur down his back, as Baelath continued. He stood, angered.
"If we were anywhere else than here, I would make you eat those words, little gryphon," Blade growled. He meant it. "You may manage to survive by keeping your paws clean, but most of us can't." He stopped. No, that was too close to revealing himself. Better to go on the offensive. He stalked forward, wings spreading slightly to make himself appear larger: and warning of his readiness to fight. He did it unconsciously, poising himself to lunge and attack without realizing it. Even as he stared hard at the other gryphon, his eyes quickly took in the surrounding area, measuring whether he would need to guard against this single attack, or ready himself for anything unexpected. All of this was done in a second, without a thought.
The gryphon apologized for his senseless words, but Blade knew it wasn't a real apology. He was only trying to keep his coat clean. Oh, that's how it works, is it? he thought in disgust. Keep yourself clean from any blood and you can blame it on others. Oh, really, sir, I tried to be nice. I can't understand why he attacked me... Blade growled under his breath, but sat down. Two could play this game.
"I see. You hate fighting, but have no problem with cutting others up with your tongue. And then what? Do you blame them when they attack you?" He let the faintest mocking smile curve his beak, anger glinting in his eyes. "And then that way you can proclaim your purity to others. Of course, it's all clear to me now." His words had grown harder and more dangerous as he spoke. Blade paused, his amber eyes cold as he stared hard at the other. He ought to rip the other's throat out now, while he could.
But a strange wariness stopped him. He was not a killer by nature, no matter how much he proclaimed it, and he refused to be the first to spill blood here. Blood disgusted him, turned his mind in ways he didn't want it to go. It was strange, as he had no care about death: whether another lived or died did not matter at all to him. He knew, in a dark way that frightened even him, that he could kill a companion as easily as a stranger because death was something distant and meaningless to him. Perhaps that was why he held himself so aloof from others--for their own safety. Still, he stopped himself, an inner anger rising against himself. He would not kill here. He would not be the first to spill blood in this space.
Number of Words: 1001. Hm. Now I have the longest post, though I didn't do that intentionally. Things To Know: Blade is not as evil as he first comes off. Maybe. He has a lot going on in his mind, so it's hard to tell. Character: Blade Anything Else? Having a character with a lot of history makes it easier to write long posts because I can just throw in pieces of his past as necessary.

Deki saw no use in getting involved any further, there didn't seem to be much chance of a fight now, that had been made clear by Blade. So Deki turned and backed away, he lay down on the grass, watching and listening the two males as they bickered between themselves like a couple of birds might squabble about their random bird things. To be perfectly honest he understood their views and oppinions, well, he understood Blade as much as he could at that time, seeing as the male didn't even seem to understand himself. But understanding them wouldn't help, Baelath was a bit of a hot-head, but nothing that wasn't understandable of youth. Though Blade, he seemed before to be some sort of angry, self absorbed killer. But now Deki wasn't too sure.
He watched a while longer, listening to Blade. First came the short conversational topic Blade brought to pass, something of all gryphons fighting and all gryphons killing. In particular Kacha. He agreed with this view, as he agreed with most. But this one seemed to him true, afterall, all gryphons were predators, so they all had to kill. It was nothing cruel or dark, but simple survival. He would have interupted and pointed this out to the younger Regalt, but there seemed little point, surely the youth knew it inside already. He claimed to be pure, but no gryphon really was. Nothing was. He flicked his aud and sighed lightly. Baelath had started again, instulting the male, Blade, with a sharp tongue and a frankly dull wit. Though the context was impressive for such a young Bard.
He smiled and shifted he weight, his gaze flickered up to the sky, not long now and the sun would be setting. He'd never get to the forest before sunset if they stayed around here. Thern he heard something rather odd, after Baelath had bickered and argued and instulted, he appologised. He had impressively gone to portrait his beliefs, only to submit. Or at least that's how Deki beleived it to be. Yes, the appology did, to him, come across as submission, it was almost regretful in the way he saw it. A sign of weakness, appologising after instulting. But odder it completely destoryed any intimidation or physical sign of strength. It showed nothing but the idea that he was courteous, and in a situation like this one that did him no good at all.
He murred softly, he had to get going and he couldn't listen much longer to such an argument. He let Blade finish his retaliation but did not leave space enough for Baelath to start one. "I shan't stay any longer," he murred softly to them both, his gaze set down a little as though it was some sort of goodbye. Then suddenly his vision flared upwards and a smile crossed his beak. The rather hadnsome figure of Blade. Filled with confusion and so many thoughts. He couldn't begin to even think what the male might have been thinking, but it still un-nevered him. He offered a small bow of his head, "good luck, Kacha. I hope you find whatever it is you are looking for. You are free to seek me out, if you ever desire help." He said no more, though he wanted to. He wanted to suggest that the male did find help, from a seer of the likes. To help him understand his own thoughts. But he didn't suppose the male would appretiate such things.
He turned his head to Baelath and smiled. "Still coming? I would love to here some of your stories for myself," he murred in the same soft, carefree tone. It was nice to think that perhaps Bae would come with him, he would wait and listen for Bae's responce, then nod, no matter what it was. He would turn to Blade and smirk, "I'm Deki by the way," he cooed at last. Finally giving his identity. his wings would then break out from his body and he would push himself into the air. Up above he would pause only for the briefest moment to look back on his previous company. And perhaps if the young male Bae wanted to come it would give him oppertunity to catch up.
Number of Words: 727 Things To Know: Erm, He's leaving Once Bae either confirms or denies whether or not he will be joining Deki then they'll be off. Character: Deki Anything Else?: Not really, at the moment at least.

Baelath hardly hesitated before answering with a "Yes." His wings snapped out barely a second after Deki's, and he shot into the sky as fast as he could. He hovered above Blade for a moment, and called to him: "I do not claim to be pure. I only claim to not have killed another of my kind." He paused, almost waiting for a response. "But, peace can be held in the most unlikely of situations. Remember that." Then he pumped his wings and soared off, his streamlined shape allowing him to go fast. He pulled into a flip, not falling this time, and began a loud traveling song. As he sang, he flipped and twisted through the air until he was too dizzy to fly straight. Typical Bae.
Number of Words:129 Another short post. Things To Know: Bae is.... kind of a moron. Character: Baelath, who holds peace in the most unlikely of situations. Anything Else? I made up Bae's little speech to Blade all by myself.
